Eric Jordan

Clarinet, flute, saxophone

Eric was born in Shizuoka, Japan and came to the United States at the age of two. He was raised bilingually and also speaks Japanese. He attended college at Indiana University Bloomington, graduating with a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Saxophone in 2007. Eric also teaches clarinet and flute. He then worked for Royal Caribbean and Princess cruise lines for four years, traveling the world while playing in the houseband orchestras on board. In 2013, Eric graduated with a Master's of Music in Jazz Studies at University of Northern Colorado, Greeley.

Eric has played in musical theater shows, big bands (Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra and Denver Jazz Orchestra), a pop cover band called Funkiphino, drummer Alex Tripp's quartet, and currently plays with Jon Romero Y Amanecer. He is also a former substitute teacher in Denver Public Schools, all grades ECE thru high school. He is very thrilled to join New Cottage Arts.
